Welcome to Kingfisher Charters & Lodge - Fishing Package Information

When you arrive in Ketchikan International Airport you will board a float or “bush“ plane to fly out to our lodge. This airfare is included in the price of your fishing package. For your convenience we will schedule you in with one of 3 airlines of your choice. You may also take the Inter-Island Ferry if you would prefer or if weather prohibits you from flying (sometimes this is a necessity).

After your arrival you will be housed in our lodge with one of your fishing partners.
Your group will be housed together in your own private unit. All lodging and meals
are provided, as well as up to 10 hours on the water, all fishing gear, bait, raingear, rubber boots, lunch, bottled water and soft drinks. When you return from the days fishing, the fish are filleted and vacuum packed to your specifications and quickly frozen in our walk in freezer. On the day of your departure your fish will be boxed in airline approved boxes for your return trip home. The bush plane allows for one carry on and 2 fish boxes which is included in your price. So travel light so that you won’t get charged the extra baggage with the “bush” plane and also your jet line server.

Your package does not include the following: Fishing license, alcohol, gratuities, any expenses incurred from missed flights due to weather such as meals or extra lodging.
